Your First 14 Nights with CloudNest

Before night 1: Their spot, their choice

Place the bed on a dry, level floor in a quiet spot where your dog already likes to rest. Keep their usual resting options available.

Check the bed, seams and zip before use. Remove packaging and keep it away from pets. Make sure there is enough room for your dog to turn and lie comfortably.

Let your dog approach, sniff and leave freely. Do not lift them into the bed, restrain them there or take away other resting places to force its use.

Nights 1-3: Make it familiar

Keep the bed in the same spot. During a calm moment, sit nearby and let your dog explore at their own pace.

If your dog enjoys food rewards, offer a small familiar treat for choosing to approach or step onto the bed. Keep sessions brief and stop if they move away.

Notice small choices: sniffing, stepping in or resting beside it. There is no target they must reach tonight.

Nights 4-7: Keep the routine gentle

Offer the bed during a naturally quiet part of the day, such as when you sit down together. Keep familiar household routines.

Quietly acknowledge a voluntary rest, then let your dog relax without repeated calls, touching or moving the bed.

If they avoid the spot, check for draughts, noise, heat or busy foot traffic. Choose a more suitable usual resting spot if needed and record the change.

Nights 8-14: Notice what works

Continue the same low-pressure routine. Your dog may explore, rest briefly or sleep; note what actually happens.

Do not increase pressure if progress is slow. Check the fit and surroundings, and contact Qwink if you need help with the product.

At night 14, look back at your notes. Keep offering the bed through night 30. This guide does not promise a sleep, calming or health outcome.

Care & checks: Read the supplied care label

Follow the care instructions supplied with your specific bed and blanket. Do not assume the whole bed, filling and removable cover share the same cleaning instructions.

If the care label is missing or unclear, email admin@qwinkshop.com before cleaning. We have not specified a wash temperature, machine cycle or tumble-drying method in this guide.

Check seams and the zip regularly. Stop use if filling or damaged parts become accessible. Supervise a dog that chews bedding and remove damaged items.

This is a settling guide, not veterinary advice. If discomfort or a sudden change in resting behaviour concerns you, speak to your vet.

Nights 15-30: Give them time; keep it simple

Continue offering the bed in their usual resting spot. Keep notes if helpful; the tracker is optional and is not a separate claim requirement.

The Last Bed Promise starts on delivery. Follow the First 14 Nights guide and give your dog 30 nights. If they still will not sleep in it, contact Qwink during nights 31-45 from delivery.

Send your order number or other proof of purchase, a photo or short video of the setup and a short explanation of how you used the guide. Contact us if you need another way to provide evidence.

For an eligible trial claim, Qwink refunds the amount paid for the CloudNest bed to the original payment method. You keep the bed. One trial claim per household. Australian Consumer Law rights are unaffected.
